Refund Policy
1. General Policy
At cloudesync.host, we strive to provide the best hosting services possible. Our refund policy varies by service type to ensure fairness to both our customers and our business operations.
2. Domain Name Registration
Domain registrations and renewals:
- Generally non-refundable once registered
- Domain registration fees are paid to registry operators and cannot be recovered
- Exceptions may be made within 24 hours of purchase if the domain has not been activated and no setup has occurred
- Domain transfers are non-refundable
3. Shared Web Hosting
Our shared hosting plans (Starter, Business, Premium):
- 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time purchases
- Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of initial purchase
- Renewal payments are non-refundable
- Setup fees (if any) are non-refundable
- Partial month refunds are not available
- Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations are not eligible for refunds
4. VPS Hosting
Virtual Private Server plans:
- 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time VPS purchases
- Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of initial activation
- Server must not have been used excessively (bandwidth, storage, compute)
- Renewal payments are non-refundable
- IP addresses and licenses (if purchased separately) are non-refundable
- Backup services are non-refundable
5. Dedicated Servers
Dedicated server hosting:
- No refunds on dedicated server monthly or annual payments
- Setup fees and initial payments are non-refundable due to provisioning costs and hardware allocation
- Service credits may be issued at our discretion for significant downtime or service issues
- Cancellation must be requested before the next billing cycle to avoid additional charges
6. Trial Services (£1 / 7 Days)
Our special trial offers:
- Trial payments are non-refundable
- The £1 for 7 days dedicated server trial is a promotional offer and is not eligible for refund
- You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged the full monthly rate
- Trials are limited to one per customer per service type
7. Refund Exclusions
Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:
- Account suspended or terminated for Terms of Service or AUP violations
- Fraudulent activity or chargebacks initiated
- Services used beyond reasonable trial or evaluation purposes
- Third-party services or add-ons (licenses, control panels, etc.)
- After the specified refund period has expired
- Renewal or recurring payments
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Contact our support team at support@cloudesync.host
- Provide your account details and order number
- State the reason for your refund request
- Allow 5-10 business days for processing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your payment provider.
9. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all services and data. Please contact our support team to resolve any billing disputes before filing a chargeback.
10. Service Credits
In cases where refunds are not available, we may issue service credits at our discretion:
- For prolonged service downtime beyond our SLA
- For billing errors on our part
- As a goodwill gesture for service issues
Service credits are non-transferable and must be used within 12 months.
11. Cancellation Policy
To cancel your service:
- Submit a cancellation request through your account panel or contact support
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
- No partial refunds for the remaining time in the billing cycle
- Data may be deleted 7 days after cancellation — ensure you have backups
12. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and apply to purchases made after the update date.
